Utah Arts Festival

Where can you find music, food, art, performance art and cool movies all together this weekend? Ding ding! That’s right! Everyone’s favorite event, the Utah Arts Festival, runs June 23-25 from noon-11 p.m. in Library Square, 400 S. 200 East. If you can slip out of work early, take advantage of the $6 lunchtime special from noon to 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. Otherwise, it’s $8 online or $12 at the gate for adults, $6 for seniors, free for children age 12 and younger (uaf.org)

The Bachauer Piano Festival

Hearing these kids play will make you wish you had stuck with piano lessons. Come be impressed and inspired by young pianists at The Bachauer Piano Festival June 22-24, 7:30 p.m.; June 24, 2 p.m. at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, 138 W. 300 South, $12-$20 (801-355-2787 or artsaltlake.org)

Utah Symphony

Lucky us, we have two good Utah Symphony options coming up. First, it’s “La La Land in Concert” with the Utah Symphony on June 24 at 9 p.m. at the USANA Amphitheater, 5150 Upper Ridge Road, West Valley City, $30-$70 (801-355-5522), and second, hear the Utah Symphony play Beethoven’s Symphony No. 8 for free at the Gallivan Center this Monday, June 26, at 8 p.m., Gallivan Center, 239 S.
