Young Asset Protection, a regional insurance and financial management firm serving residential and business clients throughout western Pennsylvania, is joining forces with the Children’s Tumor Foundation for a charity drive to help raise awareness and support for children battling chronic disorders.
One such child, an 8 year old local boy named Roman, was diagnosed in late 2014 with Neurofibromatosis (NF). This rare disorder produces rapidly expanding tumors along the spine that affect nerve function, resulting in deafness, blindness, paralysis, or abnormal growth. This charity event aims to generate donations and community support for research into treatments and cures for disorders like NF.

Young and her team have launched a massive social media and email campaign to connect with supporters, health care practitioners, and other families in the area affected by chronic diseases like NF.
