Wine flies free, book sale, Burger King, warehouse sale, discounts – Orange County Register

Hi, it’s me, Marla Jo, your columnist and deals maven. If you know a great deal, let me know at mfisher@scng.com. You can also find me at Deals Diva on Facebook and Twitter. And don’t forget to read my humor columns on Wednesdays in the Register.

WINE FLIES FREE If you like to guzzle wine as much as I do, you want to know about this: Alaska Airlines will let you bring home an entire case of wine in your checked baggage for free from certain popular winery regions. For example, you can bring home a lovely case of Sonoma County wine if you fly from the Santa Rosa/Sonoma County airport into John Wayne or any other airport. This deal is good from Boise, Eugene/Springfield, Lewiston, Medford, Portland, San Luis Obispo, Santa Rosa, Walla Walla or Yakima to all of Alaska’s destinations in the U.S. The wine must be in a foam-lined shippable container. If you do this, save me a bottle from the case. Just kidding. Save me the case. Learn more: alaskaair.com/content/deals/special-offers/wine-flies-free.aspx
