The E-Check payments industry, providing reliable yet seemingly stagnant services for many years, has seen a leader emerge from the ranks. Virtual Check has pushed to affect real change in the industry in order to sustain E-Check’s relevance in a world run by credit card and ACH transactions. In this spirit, Virtual Check has employed new technology that will not only evolve the way an E-Check is processed, but will shape the future of the merchant services industry as a whole.
“The important thing to note is that while we are incorporating new technology to provide new services, we have also refined the existing tools we currently use in order to provide the SAAS industry with a product that is truly in a league of its own,” says Virtual Check’s Co-Founder Christopher Fleisch. The new technologies that Virtual Check is utilizing include Real Time Check Verification, a streamlined Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) system, a newly designed Secure Online Payment Page, and a brand new website.
The launch of Real-Time Check Verification will allow merchants to have the most accurate information regarding the check payments they are receiving for their goods and services. How is this different than the industry standard? E-Check processors often rely on extensive databases of information that contain inaccurate or incomplete data. Virtual Check seeks to protect its merchants with Real-Time information – exposing ill-willed customers or fraudulent payments.
RDC is no stranger to E-Check processing, however most processors struggle to provide reliable and timely RDC services. This struggle often hampers a process that can often save merchants valuable time and money. Virtual Check now offers RDC as an add-on service to merchants who want same-day deposits. RDC allows Virtual Check to act as a virtual bank teller – depositing e-checks directly into merchants’ bank accounts the same day they are processed into Virtual Check’s virtual terminal.
