Following Facebook and YouTube’s lead, Twitter has launched 360 live streams through Periscope.
The feature allows users to interact and get behind the scenes of live broadcasts on videos marked with a ‘LIVE 360’ badge.
Users can move the angle of their view by either moving their phones or swiping their screens.
As with other live videos, on the desktop, you can click and drag the screen to rotate the camera.
Currently everyone can watch in 360 degrees, but only ‘select partners’ are able to stream in 360 degrees.
‘Starting today, you can check out live, interactive 360 videos from interesting broadcasters and explore what’s happening with them,’ Twitter’s Alessandro Sabatelli said in a blog post.
‘You’ll be able to get an inside look with well-known personalities and go behind the scenes at exclusive events.’
