Dear drew by drew Barrymore
14 Crosby St.; Amazon
Drew Barrymore brings her just-launched e-boutique lifestyle brand, Dear Drew, to an intimate Soho space. It’s furnished with vintage suitcases, globes and books (85 percent of the items come from the beloved star’s own home), and carries her signature apparel, handbags, intimates and more. The idea was to create an inviting space — with cozy finds like cashmere wrap tops — where both shopping and lounging are welcome.
75 Ninth Ave.; Swarovski
This glittering holiday shop at foodie haven Chelsea Market is as varied as it is inviting. On the menu: Swarovski’s crystal accessories for the body and the home, along with haute designer collaborations from the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Oscar de la Renta, Zac Posen and more.
208 Bowery; Kara
From Dec. 7 to 10, a group of NYC brands will assemble in lower Manhattan to create a one-stop shop for holiday-gifting goodness. The inaugural Kara Bazaara spans a spectrum of desires — from home decor and industrial design to fashion — and features the market’s namesake accessory line as well as wares from CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund designer Sandy Liang, objet d’art-maker Areaware, local ceramicist Risa Nishimori and more. Who knew the neighbors were so talented?
79 Greene St.; Sophia Webster
