The National Ground Water Association’s “Groundwater Week” to Bring Nearly 4500 Groundwater Professionals Together in Nashville December 4-7

Groundwater Week will feature every opportunity to maximize the foundations of groundwater science with water supply, resource protection, and remediation.

The National Ground Water Association (NGWA), will once again descend on Nashville’s Music City Center to host the industry’s premier event, Groundwater Week, December 4-7.

Designed to provide both educational and networking experiences to all who work in the groundwater industry, the exhibit hall will feature the latest technologies, educational opportunities, interactive activity areas, and numerous panels and sessions from industry thought leaders.

Held in conjunction for the first time with NGWA’s Groundwater Summit—the Association’s preeminent technical conference for groundwater consultants, scientists, engineers, and academics—Groundwater Week is expected to draw nearly 4000 attendees throughout the event.

Groundwater Week will feature every opportunity to maximize the foundations of groundwater science with water supply, resource protection, and remediation. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to:


  • Explore products, technologies, and services from hundreds of exhibitors.
  • Learn about industry advances by attending any number of informational / educational sessions.
  • Choose from more 50 hours of educational offerings designed to increase job performance.
  • Gain valuable insight regarding future industry trends and offerings.
  • Honor NGWA volunteers and award winners during the Awards of Excellence ceremony.
  • Raise money to support the groundwater industry during the NGWA Foundation Fundraising Auction.

Additionally, attendees of this year’s Keynote Session will be treated to a tour through music history as John Carter Cash, son of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. Their hour-long “House of Cash: A Historical and Musical Journey with John Carter Cash,” will take attendees on a musical journey through the Cash and Carter family history. Along with his wife, Ana Cristina Cash, and backing band, The Daeger Boys, John Carter will tell personal stories about his mother and father while playing classic hits known around the world.
