Making a regular living without a regular living, believe it or not, this is an idea that works as Chris Guillebeau has found out during his trip around the world. To date, the now-author of “The $100 Startup” has traveled into or through 175 countries and he has never had a full-time, paying job, yet he gets paid for his ideas.
That’s the key to his success: come up with an idea (say a better way to harvest rice or maybe a better way to tie bails of grain) and sell them locally, earning the money for them and then moving on to the next stop where you see something that needs fixing and you figure out how to fix it.
This isn’t the lifestyle for everyone.
