Tarte Cosmetics Chooses Vanguard Software For Its Global Supply Chain Forecasting & Planning Platform

Vanguard Software signed a deal with Tarte Cosmetics to bring cloud-based analytics and automation to the beauty company’s global supply chain.

Tarte execs say the move will ultimately consolidate a wide range of activities on a single platform, including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, replenishment planning, component purchasing, and more. The company, whose sales volumes have grown rapidly in the past three years, “is eager to implement a robust enterprise-grade, all-in-one solution”, said Michael Lavelle, Tarte Executive Director for Planning and Allocation. He said he expects Vanguard will significantly improve accuracy, improve supply chain coordination and dramatically reduce inventory. Tarte picked Vanguard Software from a diverse pool of competing solutions for its end-to-end supply chain capability, as well as its ease of use.
