Help for Contractors, Helping Houston

In this time of massive cleanup and repair, we hope that having access to our software will help local contractors save time and thus allow them to more quickly tend to the communities in need.

STACK Construction Technologies, provider of the first and only 100% cloud-based takeoff and estimating software for the construction industry, is donating free access to its software for contractors aiding in the cleanup and rebuilding efforts following Hurricane Harvey. Eligible contractors will have complete access to a free, Basic level subscription, which includes up to 20 projects to assist in their rebuilding efforts.

Hurricane Harvey devastated southeast Texas in August when it made landfall as a category 4 hurricane. The unprecedented and widespread flooding displaced tens of thousands of people and destroyed or damaged an estimated 100,000 homes. The estimated costs for cleanup have already topped $40 billion, one of the costliest natural disasters in U.S. history.

“As a former commercial roofer, I can relate to the demand and urgency that a natural disaster can bring for businesses, homeowners and especially contractors,” said Phil Ogilby, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of STACK. “In this time of massive cleanup and repair, we hope that having access to our software will help local contractors save time and thus allow them to more quickly tend to the communities in need. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of those affected by Hurricane Harvey.”

STACK Construction Technology’s easy-to-use software will assist contractors in the cleanup and rebuilding efforts by providing time savings and bidding efficiencies which translate to quicker project completion. The ability to bid more work, in less time paired with the natural mobility afforded by STACK’s cloud-based platform will allow contractors to work on more projects at a faster rate. This will without a doubt help to speed the return of normalcy for the residents, businesses and homes of affected Texas communities.
