Cloudbeds, a leading provider of hospitality management software for independent properties (hotels, hostels, inns, bed and breakfasts, campgrounds, vacation rentals, and more) today announced its partnership with Mad Monkey Hostels, one of the largest hostel chains in Asia. Cloudbeds’ software, which includes an integrated property management system, channel manager, and booking engine, was chosen by Mad Monkey Hostels to power all eight of their properties.
“The deployment process with Cloudbeds was the single smoothest technology implementation that we’ve experienced,” said Steve Vaile, Chairman of Mad Monkey, “Cloudbeds’ local account management team was incredibly professional and worked with us to develop and execute a seamless launch plan.”
Since the first Mad Monkey Hostel opened in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in June 2011, the family of hostels has expanded to include eight properties in three countries and they have ambitious plans for future expansion. They are hyper-focused on the guest experience, specifically tailoring adventure travel to a millennial customer base who wish to travel with purpose.
Mad Monkey is committed to a socially responsible business model, and their mission is intertwined with giving back to their communities. They have provided clean water to 12,000 people in Cambodia and funded education for over 100 children from impoverished backgrounds in Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s capital city.
“We are thrilled to partner with a hostel industry leader like Mad Monkey to help them achieve their ambitious growth goals and forward-thinking initiatives,” said Adam Harris, CEO and Founder of Cloudbeds, “They’re really helping define the future for hostels and hospitality.”
“Cloudbeds gives us better visibility across the business and facilitates operations to run more smoothly. Most importantly, Cloudbeds’ open API allows us to continue to push technology boundaries and innovate to create the best guest experience,” Steve Vaile of Mad Monkey Hostels.
