Robinson sparks JSerra rally to beat Servite in Trinity League opener – Orange County Register

ANAHEIM – A dominant second-half performance from JT Robinson led No. 5 JSerra to a 46-38 win over Servite in both teams’ Trinity League opener Friday at Servite High.

Robinson scored 18 of his 21 points in the second half, including 12 in the third quarter.

“He’s the engine that drives the car,” JSerra coach Zach Brogdon said of Robinson. “He’s really important to us. When he’s going and playing well and hitting shots, we are a whole different team.”

JSerra (12-2, 1-0) got a strong performance on both ends of the floor from 6-foot-11 center Joel Mensah. Mensah had 16 points, a game-high 10 rebounds and three blocks.
