Reaction to LaDainian Tomlinson’s Pro Football Hall of Fame Induction – Orange County Register

LaDainian Tomlinson was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a member of the San Diego Chargers.

Tomlinson spent nine years as a running back for the Chargers’ organization. He spent the final two years of his career as a member of the New York Jets.

During 2006, he rushed for 1,815 yards and 28 touchdowns on 348 rushing attempts. He broke the NFL single-season record with 31 total touchdowns.

Following the season, he was named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player.

With 145 career touchdowns, he is second in the NFL history books behind a player he idolized growing up, Emmitt Smith (164 touchdowns).

Fans enjoyed listening to L.T.’s induction speech that they were ready to give him their vote for the United States presidential election of 2020.
