Silicon Valley startup Pooki’s Mahi® announced today it achieved 96% customer retention and increased 100% Kona coffee subscription orders by including shipping to the Lower 48 states without charging a membership fee. Pooki’s Mahi is experiencing steady growth without taking venture funding or a loan and has consistently landed large customer accounts.

Pooki’s Mahi Founder/CEO Les Magsalay-Zeller explains, “Pooki’s Mahi customers will pay more to order Kona coffee subscriptions with expedited shipping. Coffee subscribers expect consistency from ordering a subscription, fulfilling the order, and receiving the Kona coffee. Pooki’s Mahi previously used a network of fulfillment centers to distribute 100% Kona coffee pods to retail customers. Repeat customers and coffee subscribers complained receiving Kona coffee subscription orders four or more days.”

The Silicon Valley executive continues, “Pooki’s Mahi re-negotiated existing transportation partnerships and added new partners to meet Pooki’s Mahi expedited shipping requirements. I redesigned coffee subscriptions platform to make it easier for coffee subscribers to buy through tablet, mobile, watch and portable home devices. Order tracking information and daily updates are sent to the customer.”
