The American workforce is experiencing an incredible phenomenon — for the first time in our country’s history, four distinct generations are working side by side. With the open enrollment benefits season upon us, it’s not too late to enhance your company’s offerings with the latest cost-effective options that help overcome the growing challenge of recruiting and retaining Millennials – identity theft protection plans.

In the most recent study conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice, the average out-of-pocket loss for an individual who has experienced identity theft is $2,895. On average, victims must dedicate 18 hours to resolving a single identity theft incident, according to Javelin Strategy & Research.

As companies and individuals become more reliant on technology, it’s increasingly important to build identity protection services into employee benefits packages, tailored to each working generation. Millennials are very sensitive to staying secure on the go, particularly when using a smartphone, tablet or laptop in public spaces.
