Deerfield Beach is our home, and we believe it’s our responsibility to give back to the men and women who help protect us every single day

With the holidays coming into full swing, there is no better time to thank the Deerfield Beach first responders at the Broward Sherriff’s Office (BSO) Fire Rescue Station 102. To recognize these heroes and thank them for their dedicated service to the community throughout the year, People’s Trust Insurance hosted its fourth annual holiday appreciation lunch at the fire station today.
“The holidays are a particularly appropriate time to honor the hard work of the brave first responders for all they do all year long. It’s a time we can celebrate our next-door neighbors and show our appreciation,” said George Schaeffer, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of People’s Trust.
People’s Trust Insurance, a Florida-based homeowner’s insurance company, is located at the Florida Atlantic University Research Park next to Fire Station 102. People’s Trust is a strong supporter of BSO and the Fire Station team who risk their lives to help keep our community safe, 365 days a year. There is no better way to start the holiday season than by joining our neighbors in a thank you meal.
“Deerfield Beach is our home, and we believe it’s our responsibility to give back to the men and women who help protect us every single day,” said Schaeffer.
Mayor Ganz, Vice Mayor Miller, Commissioner Parness, Commissioner Drosky, District Fire Chief Sievers, Lieutenant Brimlow and City of Deerfield officials joined Schaeffer at the lunch and the People’s Trust Executive team at the event to show their support for the first responders.
