Neil Patrick Harris’ Boyfriend 2014: Generous Actor Treats David Burtka to a Passionate Kiss and Three Parties to Celebrate His Birthday

Neil Patrick Harris was photographed attending the EAT (RED), DRINK (RED), SAVE LIVES event at Chef Mario Batali’s eatery Eataly Birreria in New York City on Monday evening (June 2, 2014). The “How I Met Your Mother” actor was joined by his boyfriend David Burtka, with whom he has 3-year-old twins Harper and Gideon. The couple hit up the charity bash after showing up at the Tony Honors Cocktail Party at the Paramount Hotel to celebrate the generous actor’s Tony nomination for the Best Actor In A Musical category for musical “Hedwig And The Angry Inch.”

Dressed to impress at the party, the couple looked dapper in their smart outfits, with Neil Patrick Harris wearing a black suit and white shirt while his boyfriend David Burtka opted for blue jeans, a grey jacket and bow tie. The pair got very cosy as they sat together in a corner and even shared a big kiss.

The twosome finished off their day of parties with a trip to Upstairs at Beauty & Essex, where they celebrated David Burtka’s 39th birthday with a group of 10 friends. The gang apparently enjoyed awesome time together as Neil Patrick Harris posted a photo of the group and David on his lap on Instagram with the caption, “How fun is @BeautyAndEssex? Pawn shop turned speakeasy deliciousness. Thanks! This motley crew had a blast!”
