Rollin Braswell Fisher LLC (RBF Law) announced that Michael A. Rollin was the only Colorado lawyer named to the inaugural Elite Boutique Trailblazers list published by The National Law Journal. This prestigious list celebrates the accomplishments of some of the top attorneys across the country. Rollin was selected for this award based on his passion, perseverance, and the successful outcomes he has secured in his complex commercial litigation practice.

Rollin is a founding partner of RBF Law, a commercial litigation and appellate law firm with a national practice based in Greenwood Village, Colorado. For many years, Rollin has served as lead counsel to some of the largest corporations in the United States, including in high-profile, multi-billion dollar disputes arising out of the 2008 financial crisis. Of significance is his work as AIG’s trial counsel in its challenge to Bank of America’s $8.5 billion settlement of RMBS-related liability arising from BofA’s acquisition of Countrywide. For nearly a decade, Rollin has served as lead counsel to the Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. (LBHI) bankruptcy estate for litigation services related to LBHI’s purchase, sale, securitization, and servicing of residential mortgage loans. In this ongoing representation, Rollin has been responsible for the defense of $80 billion in claims filed against the LBHI bankruptcy estate, supervised teams of attorneys, and prosecuted hundreds of millions of dollars of indemnification claims for the benefit of the LBHI estate and its creditors.
