Local Couple Opens Pet Wants Miamisburg

Ray and Jackie Covington are pleased to announce the launch of their new business, Pet Wants Miamisburg. Pet Wants Miamisburg has a retail storefront at 38 Fiesta Lane and offers free, personal delivery to Franklin, Germantown, Miamisburg, West Carrollton, Moraine, Trotwood, Englewood, Vandalia, Clayton and the surrounding areas.

Pet Wants’ carefully developed proprietary pet food is slow-cooked in small batches with fresh, high-quality ingredients once per month, so every kibble is guaranteed to be fresh and packed with nutrition. Pet Wants Miamisburg offers multiple blends of dog and cat food as well as healing salve, calming balm, anti-itch spray, paw wax and more.

The store in Miamisburg officially opened on September 2, but the Covingtons are hosting a grand opening celebration on Wednesday, October 4, at 10am. There will be a ribbon cutting and a welcome speech by the Mayor of Miamisburg. The media and the public are invited to attend.

“We are excited to see families and their pets every day and to learn about their lives. We want to get to know each of our clients so we can work together to make sure we’re recommending the best products to suit your needs. Pet Wants is different because we know what’s in all our products and we’ve love to talk to you about them,” Jackie said.

Ray and Jackie both have long careers in service. Ray served in the military for 26 years and then took a job in civil service. Jackie retired from her own civil service job after 20 years. Ray and Jackie are married with two sons – Cordell and Demetrius – one who is former military and one who is active military. They knew they wanted to build a business for themselves, their community and their family.
