Live updates from CenturyLink Field – Orange County Register

The Rams know the stakes in Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks. Win and they position themselves nicely to finish first in the NFC West, host a playoff game, and perhaps get a first-round bye. Lose and they open themselves up to the possibility of falling out of the playoffs entirely.

The Rams enter the game leading the division at 9-4, with a game at Tennessee and a home game against the 49ers still to play. The Seahawks are 8-5, but a win would give them a sweep of the two games against the Rams, a key tiebreaker advantage in the playoff race. After this game, Seattle closes the season with a game at Dallas and a home game against Arizona.

Rich Hammond and Vincent Bonsignore are reporting from the Seahawks’ home at CenturyLink Field. Keep it here for live news updates, analysis and stats before, during and after the game.

📻 @espnlosangeles / @931JackFM / @ESPNDeportesLA🏠 Home turf. #GoHawks you have to try to run it. And they had some success with it last week, admittedly sporadic, but some. But you can’t simply never run the ball.…Will be a big key, no doubt.…Ron Rivera says hi. (people forget he was a Bear)…Overcast but no rain at moment. happy to be back at @CenturyLink_Fld today!! See you soon @12s ! #LAvsSEA #gohawks’s gameday, @12s ! We need your energy today. Who’s ready to get loud? Early morning typo!!…📍 CenturyLink Field

That certainly didn’t help…The scoreboards here at CenturyLunk Field just showed #NFC West standings. Had #Rams and #Seahawks both listed as 9-5. Next-level trolling or just presumptuous?
