Leading US Universities Come Together to Recruit Students from China with Live Broadcast Series

As the leader in the college search and application process, CollegeFindMe is convening top universities in the US in a series of live recruitment broadcasts to prospective Chinese students. This is the first time that schools from across the US are working together to engage with high-performing Chinese students in a live web broadcast.

More than 1 million students from across the globe come to the United States for higher education, pumping an estimated $39 billion into the US economy. With students from China making up the largest share from any single country, recent data from the Institute of International Education shows a decline in the overall number of international students coming to the US. A report by Open Doors, a survey of more than 2,000 colleges, found that only New England saw growth in the number of international students – every other region in the US reported declining numbers, with the mid-part of the country taking the biggest hit.
