Larson Electronics LLC, a leader in the industrial lighting sector, announced the release of a brand-new explosion proof 1080p HD LED projector this week, designed for displaying high-quality images on walls and panels in hazardous locations. Ideal for paint mixing rooms, this HD projector delivers high quality images on flat surfaces to ensure paints are the correct color every single time.

The EXPJR-1080P-V explosion proof projector features a 1080P HD resolution HDMI output, 2 USB ports and a 3.5mm audio jack. The projector supports compatibility with Android, iOS, PC, laptops, TVs, TF cards and hard disks, making it a truly versatile and flexible device for a variety of projection applications. The projector is powered by a RK3128 CPU, a quad-core GPU and 1GB of RAM and features a brightness level range between 80-100 lumens from an LED light, great for indoor and outdoor viewing where lighting needs can change dramatically. The LED projection light is glass-free and is protected against possible breakage or contaminates that may be present in dangerous work sites.

This durable projector is designed to perform under harsh and rugged conditions found in places such as petroleum refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, paint spray booths, paint mixing facilities, food manufacturing buildings, grain storage centers, agricultural sites, woodshops and more. Copper-free aluminum housing with weatherproof construction makes this device durable and safe in potentially explosive environments. It can be mounted on any flat surface and is powered by an adapter that can be connected to any mainstream power source.

“Color matching can be difficult in paint mixing rooms where light and image projection is poor,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics. “That’s why we built this HD projector with high resolution, an LED light for reliability and so many different compatibility options.
