Korean youth connect to culture heritage through music and dance – Orange County Register

When Jennifer Kwon, 18, first started Korean cultural dance, she was most intrigued by the performers’ colorful costumes. Now, several traditional outfits later, with many performances under her belt, Kwon has come to understand the greater significance behind her dancing.

“It’s a way to connect with our culture and a way to spread our culture because some people may never see this in their life,” Kwon said.
