Details about the recent Jersey Shore cast’s reunion are finally coming to light. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the stars of the hit MTV reality show, which ran from 2009-2012, are coming back together for a new reunion-centered docuseries in development at E! Titled ‘Reunion Road Trip’, the unscripted entry will capture an epic show reunion as the cast drives down memory lane making familiar stops along the way – sharing stories, revisiting hot spots and catching up on each other’s current lives.

The wildly popular reality show that depicted the life of eight people living in Seaside Heights, N.J., for the summer will be hosting a reunion on basic cable staple E! Entertainment Television.
Nicole Polizzi, better known as Snooki, announced the reunion on Twitter.
The original Jersey Shore aired on MTV from December 2009 to December 2012 and featured Polizzi, Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, Jennifer “JWOWW” Farley, Samantha “Sammi Sweetheart” Giancola, Vinny Guadagnino, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Angelina Pivarnick. Pivarnick left the show after Season 2 and Deena Nicole Cortese joined the cast at the beginning of Season 3.
In the Garden State, some took issue with the show, saying it was not a real representation of the Jersey Shore.
They also argued that a majority of the cast was from New York, not New Jersey. Cortese is from New Egypt, N.J., about 15 miles southeast of Trenton; and Giancola is from Hazlet, about 2 miles from Raritan Bay in northern New Jersey.
