The “first annual” Al Enderle Memorial Car Show will take place 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, Aug 20, at the Enderle Center, 17350 17th St. Enjoy music and food trucks. Trophies will be awarded. “Annie” shines in Broadway in the Park

Going on its 17th year, Broadway in the Park returns — this time with “Annie.” Performances take place at dusk Aug. 15-19 in Peppertree Park, 230 W. “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” camp

Once Upon a Storybook children’s bookstore hosts “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” camp – for incoming first- through third-graders – 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 7-11, at 17300 17th St., Unit C. Campers will enjoy hearing Laura Numeroff’s “If You Give . . .” books and the fun activities related to them. Cost is $225. Information: 714- 669-4377.

Don’t miss out on a movie or concert in the park

Time is running out to catch a band or a movie in the park this summer. Tonight, Aug. 3, catch “Jungle Book” at Peppertree Park, 230 W. First St.. Next week it’s “Finding Dory” at  El Camino Real Park, 13602 Parkcenter Lane. Activities start at 6 p.m. and movies at dusk. The final concert features a real crowd-pleaser — Journey cover band Don’t Stop Believin’ — 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9. Registration for kindergartners and new students

Tustin Unified’s elementary schools are holding 2017-18 registration  for kindergarten and new students. Registration times: 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. School starts Tuesday, Aug. 22. While parents can register online at, they still need to visit their home school to present documentation. Children who will be 5 on or before Sept. 1 are eligible to enter kindergarten. Transitional Kindergarten, for students turning 5 Sept. 2-Dec. 2, 2017, will be offered at seven school sites. Parents may call their child’s home school for more information, or 714-730-7301.
