Meteorologist Kweilyn Murphy is tracking the rainfall potential over the next several days from Potential Tropical Cyclone Three.

Tropical storm warnings are in effect along the coast from Intracoastal City, Louisiana, to the mouth of the Pearl River, which includes lower portions of Lafourche, St. Bernard and Jefferson parishes.

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect through Thursday evening, with 4-8″ of widespread rainfall likely, with isolated amounts 10-15″.

The rain could have a few embedded thunderstorms, capable of producing an isolated tornado, especially along the coast.
