With the OC Fair just around the corner and the summer concert lineup set, here’s a primer to answer some of your questions before the fair kicks off:
When does the OC Fair start and end?
July 14-Aug. 13.
How much is admission?
Wednesday-Friday: $12: ages 13 to 59; $7: 60 and older and children 6 to 12; children 5 and under are free.
Saturday and Sunday: $14: ages 13 to 59; $7: 60 and older and children 6 to 12; children 5 and under are free..
Tickets can be purchased at the fair box office at the Pacific Amphitheatre, 100 Fair Drive or at ocfair.com. No service fees apply when you print your own tickets.
Super passes cost $35: ages 13 to 59; $28: 60 and older and children 6 to 12.
The pass includes admission to all 23 days, express entry at all public gates and two-for-one discounts for tickets to select Pacific Amphitheatre, The Hangar and Action Sports Arena concerts and events.
Are there times when admission is free?
Yes. The fair will offer free admission and parking on opening day from noon-3 p.m.
Come early, as lines tend to be long.
What are the OC Fair’s hours?
• Noon to midnight Wednesday to Friday
• 11 a.m. to midnight Saturday and Sunday
• Fair is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
Are there discounts?
Save your San Diego County Fair or Ventura County Fair ticket stub for one free admission at the OC Fair.
Active-duty military and veterans receive free admission and are eligible to purchase half-price price general admission tickets. Military ID required. Free admission is not applicable for spouses or dependents. A maximum of six 1/2 price tickets may be purchased.
Bookworms ages 5-11 can read two books to earn three free carnival rides.
