Eric Bolling Jr. died emotionally wrecked by his father’s Fox News scandal, report says – Orange County Register

Eric Chase Bolling, Jr. died in his bed after enduring “emotional torture” over his father Eric Bolling Sr. leaving Fox News amid a sexting scandal, TMZ is reporting.

The 19-year-old was found dead Friday evening in Boulder, Colorado where he was a student at the University of Colorado, various outlets reported. However, the circumstances surrounding Eric Jr.’s death remain a mystery, TMZ said.

Eric Bolling confirmed in a tweet Saturday that his son died in what police called an “unintended” manner. Referring to his wife, Bolling said: “Adrienne and I are devastated by the loss of our beloved son Eric Chase last night. Details still unclear. Thoughts, prayers appreciated.”

He added in a second tweet: “Authorities have informed us there is no sign of self harm at this point. Autopsy will be next week. Please respect our grieving period.”

On Saturday, President Trump retweeted Kellyanne Conway’s message to “friends” Bolling and his wife, sending “love and prayers.”
