Dignity Health Names Dr. Ron McAdam New Facility Medical Director of Freestanding Emergency Room in Glendale

Dignity Health named Dr. Ronald (Ron) McAdam the Facility Medical Director of Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital Emergency Room – Glendale. The facility is licensed under Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital, located in the West Valley.

“Dr. McAdam is an excellent physician and will ensure our freestanding emergency room continues to deliver the highest quality care to Glendale and the surrounding communities,” said Robert “Bob” Honeycutt, President and CEO of Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital.

Dr. McAdam received his undergraduate degree from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA and his medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. Before joining Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital Emergency Room, he served as an attending emergency physician at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center in Casa Grande, AZ, Florence Hospital in Florence, AZ, and Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center in Safford, AZ. Dr. McAdam is board certified in emergency medicine and has over ten years of clinical experience.

The Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital Emergency Room is a full-service emergency room, licensed by the state, and open 24-7. The facility is staffed by board-certified physicians, emergency trained registered nurses and radiology technologists and equipped with a full radiology suite and an accredited laboratory.
