Custom Information Services (CIS) Participates in Webinar with eFolder to Share Expertise on Business Disaster Recovery Plans

CIS recently participated in eFolder’s webinar One Partner, Two BDR Perspectives: Faster Recovery, Bigger Margins, which targeted small businesses owners in the Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas area to promote disaster recovery and CIS’s solution, eFolder BDR for Replibit.

eFolder BDR for Replibit is an image-based backup and disaster recovery service that captures snapshots of a server, including its data, operating system, applications, and configurations, and replicates those images to the eFolder Cloud. Businesses that deploy eFolder BDR for Replibit have multiple recovery options in the event of a server failure or site-wide disaster, including recovery in the eFolder Cloud.

“With the progression of technology, BDR eFolder is really becoming a part of our business plan.” Says Tim Riddle, President of CIS. “When we first started out with BDR as a service, a lot of companies couldn’t afford the true disaster recovery that is affordable today, because the technology was so different from where it is now. Now you’ve got more portability, and disaster recovery options are much more plentiful and effective. It has evolved a lot over the years.”

By offering eFolder BDR for Replibit, CIS lets businesses leverage the reliability and performance of the eFolder Cloud with a single solution, and minimize the risk and cost of downtime. Key features of eFolder BDR for Replibit include image-based backup and cloud replication, recovery of server data, operating systems, applications, and configurations, generous cloud storage and turnkey deployment, comprehensive reporting and integrations, compliant data centers and military-grade encryption.

“There’s a good place in the market for eFolder BDR for Replibit” Says Riddle. “We lead with let us put the software in for your internal IT program, make sure it’s working properly and that it stays working properly, and that we are there throughout the whole life of it. It makes sense for us, since we’ve invested in the training, the reputable customer base, and the relationship with eFolder. With all of those things together, it makes for a viable part of the business plan, and we are excited to see where the future takes us.”
