Creflo Dollar – Hearing Your Way to Success

When S. Truett Cathy opened up the first Chick–fil–A restaurant at an Atlanta, Georgia mall in 1967, he became a pioneer in the fast–food industry, being the first to market the boneless chicken sandwich. However, it wasn’t just savvy marketing strategies that brought Cathy and the Chick–fil–A team to the top. It was his commitment to God by closing his restaurants on Sundays, one of the busiest days of the week in the restaurant industry. In time, Chick–fil–A became one of the largest fast–food chicken restaurant companies in America in spite of its shortened business hours.

If you are like most people, you want to have guaranteed success in life. However, achieving success is a process that requires a great deal of faith to walk in unchartered territory. Just like S. Truett Cathy, God has a plan of ultimate success for your life—if you choose to honor Him and listen to His Word.

When was the last time you allowed God to speak to you about His plans for your success? God is always speaking through His Word and through our circumstances, but sometimes we just don’t take the time to hear the voice that’s behind the Word. What do I mean by that? Behind every sermon you hear and every scripture you read, there is a voice from God that will reveal mysteries and revelation about the path that you should take in life.

Revelation knowledge strengthens you; it equips you and empowers you to have success. It comes freely when you make a decision to seek God wholeheartedly. Something extraordinary happens when revelation invades your life. When Simon got the revelation that Jesus was the Christ, the Son of the Living God, Jesus said to him “…Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 16:17). Simon received the blessing from God because he had revelation in his life.
