Creative Entrepreneurs partners with London’s Battersea Power Station for London shop | City & Business | Finance

The shop will showcase a range of unique products designed by budding creative entrepreneurs in the community.

The initiative forms part of Battersea Power Station’s exclusive programme of Pop Up retailers and galleries at Circus West Village – the first part of the development to open to the public.   

Curated by CE, the Pop Up will showcase London’s wealth of independent creative enterprises and entrepreneurs, ranging from designer low energy lighting to handcrafted Scottish knitwear.

Carolyn Dailey, Creative Entrepreneurs founder, said: “This marks our first expansion into retail space, providing a physical platform to showcase Britain’s creative clout.  

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to launch with one of the world’s most iconic spaces, Battersea Power Station.

“Our mission is to help creative people start and grow businesses, giving them the support, inspiration and networks they need to thrive.

“Expanding into physical platforms is exciting new territory and we are honoured to be a part of Battersea Power Station’s new creative programme.” 

Since its launch at 10 Downing Street in January last year, CE has provided a central gathering place – online and at events – for entrepreneurs to access support and resources across the creative sectors, from fashion to music to TV to design to theatre.

The platform has seen the coming together of Britain’s major creative forces with launch ambassadors including Anya Hindmarch, the iconic British fashion designer; Jamal Edwards, creator of youth music channel SB.TV; Rohan Silva, a former Downing Street policy advisor and the late Zaha Hadid, the award winning architect.  

Rob Tincknell, CEO, Battersea Power Station Development Company, said: “We want to support a new generation of creative people and are seeking young, independent commercial businesses that are making products and stories across design, art, craft, fashion, publishing, new tech and beyond.”
