The Colombian Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology, Mr. David Luna, honored Consensus with the Merit Medal “Manuel Murillo Toro” for its commitment to the growth of Small and Medium Size Companies through technology implementation in Colombia and the US and its contribution to the Industry.

Consensus was established by a group of experienced consultants 27 years ago, and provides strategic technology consulting and implementation to Small and Medium Size Companies to grow their revenue and profits.

Mr. David Luna highlighted how Consensus has been instrumental in hundreds of growth projects in the SMB sector and how its own success story sets an example of entrepreneurship. “It is possible to start from zero and build a Company with care, love, commitment and trust. Their story, that is why these Companies are here today, and one of the reasons we give this awards is to show others how great companies are built,” said Luna.

At the ceremony, the Minister reviewed Consensus success in the US with Andres Castrillon, President of Consensus International, headquartered in Miami, Florida. “We love this business because we become a strategic partner to our customers, we enjoy to see them grow and scale up, and we have been able to replicate it in several states across the country,” said Castrillon. “In today’s business environment, for SMBs to survive and grow, it is imperative to take full advantage of leading technologies that will make them as efficient and effective as possible.
