Clippers rally but fade down the stretch, fall to Timberwolves – Orange County Register

LOS ANGELES — Well, Danilo Gallinari wasn’t the answer. The Clippers welcomed him back to the court with open arms, but he couldn’t prevent them from dropping a 113-107 decision Wednesday to the Minnesota Timberwolves at Staples Center, their fourth consecutive loss.

One player couldn’t rescue the short-handed Clippers.

It’s going to be like this for a while, even as injured players follow Gallinari back to the lineup.

It’s likely to be this way until the Clippers are whole again, and that won’t happen this season.
