Casa Chameleon has partnered with Kind Traveler to donate funds to AlfaLit International, a literacy organization that seeks to educate local students in reading, writing and math. For every night that guests book at Casa Chameleon Hotels — including at their newest location in Las Catalinas — $10 will be donated to AlfaLit International.
Kind Traveler is an innovative online travel booking service that connects socially conscious travelers with hotels willing to give back to their communities. To date, Casa Chameleon’s three hotels are the only properties in Costa Rica available for donations and booking through Kind Traveler.
As a reward for their donation through Kind Traveler, travelers unlock an exclusive hotel rate and special perks with curated hotels and unique properties. One hundred percent of the donations raised on the Kind Traveler platform are given to charity.
“We recognize that today’s travelers want to experience the heart of a place and to give back to the locals when they enjoy their hospitality. Casa Chameleon is dedicated to the local community, and we’re proud to be one of the first adopters of the Kind Traveler hotel-booking platform. Part of our mission is to spread goodness, and aligning ourselves with Kind Traveler does just that,” says Brent Reynolds, President and Managing Partner of NP International, the development firm behind the Casa Chameleon properties.
Casa Chameleon at Las Catalinas is the newest NP International property in Costa Rica and the first new hotel to open in the town of Las Catalinas. Las Catalinas itself is a new place, founded in 2009 and still under development. It is a walkable beach town located just 45 minutes by car from the Liberia airport, making it both remote and convenient at the same time.
Casa Chameleon has attracted the discerning attention of Travel + Leisure. The new adults-only resort is featured in the September 2017 issue of the magazine in a spread that covers the rise of Las Catalinas…
