Carr provides the burst as Tustin charges past Trabuco Hills – Orange County Register

TUSTIN – It took a while for K.C. Carr III to find decent room, but once he did, there seemed to be no stopping the Tustin running back on Friday night.

Carr finished with 358 rushing yards on 40 carries and scored all five touchdowns in the 35-24 victory against visiting Trabuco Hills.

Carr collected 174 of those yards in the third quarter, scoring on three long touchdown runs in the final six minutes of the quarter to give the Tillers (4-0) the lead for good.

Carr didn’t record his first run of more than seven yards until his 18-yard touchdown run tied the score at 7-7 with 2:51 left in the first half. Carr said the slow start was nothing…
