The 2017 British Grand Prix will clash with next year’s men’s Wimbledon final for the second year running.
Formula One’s governing body, International Automobile Federation (FIA), has formally ratified the 20-race schedule for next year and one notable difference from the provisional list was the date of Lewis Hamilton’s home race.
The British Grand Prix was scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 9 but a reshuffle, along with the absence of the race in Germany, means Britain’s showpiece motorsport event will now take place a week later on July 16.
