The Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) has recognized Birkman as an official SHRM Recertification Provider, a pronouncement that identifies the company as offering high-quality learning opportunities for HR professionals. All facilitator led trainings, webinars, and self-paced eLearning courses offered at a cost are now eligible to receive professional development credits that can be put towards renewing SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credentials. This distinction comes just one month after Birkman Signature Certification was awarded with credit hours for Continuing Coach Education (CCE) by the International Coach Federation.
SHRM is the world’s largest HR professional society, dedicated to enhancing the effectiveness of HR professionals through industry-leading support, education, thought leadership, and advocacy. SHRM Certification is a globally-recognized credential, with over 100,000 HR professionals holding credentials in over 104 countries. The Recertification Provider Program was established by SHRM to give organizations the opportunity to award professional development credits (PDCs) for qualified activities, without pre-approval, during a 2-year period.
Anyone who completes a facilitator led training, webinar, or self-paced eLearning course through Birkman after August 9, 2017 will earn PDC credits. Each training hour attended will translate to 1 PDC credit.
