‘American Crime Story’ Cast: Finn Wittrock To Play Jeff Trail In ‘Versace’; Official Photos Released

“American Crime Story” just cast “American Horror Story” actor Finn Wittrock as Jeff Trail in its “Versace” installment.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Wittrock will play the role of series killer Andrew Cunanan’s (Darren Criss) friend and first victim. The “Assassination of Gianni Versace” will officially premiere on the FX in 2018 and will center on the July 1997 murder of the famed designer right in his home in Miami. The role of Versace will be played by Edgar Ramirez. The cast also includes Penelope Cruz as Versace’s sister, Donatella, Ricky Martin as Versace’s longtime partner, Antonio D’Amico.

Meanwhile, first photos of the all of the cast members giving life to their respective characters have just been released exclusively by the publication. In the first photo, Ramirez’s Versace is wearing blue and gold satin shirt paired with white pants. He is seated on the sofa with his left hand resting on his forehead.

Martin looks extremely hot in his own snap. While giving life to the role of D’Amico, Martin is wearing only skimpy underwear, but ¾ of his body are covered in a black and white robe. Unlike Martin, Criss’ entire body is very much covered in his picture as Cunanan. He is wearing a blue polo shirt and khaki pants.

Cruz stars in her second photo from the “Assassination of Gianni Versace.” In the snap, the actress is wearing a lavish pink gown while assuming the role of Donatella. Last month, Donatella’s first photo was also released exclusively by the same publication. In the snap, the character is wearing the same pink gown. But this time around, she is seated in front of two hunkie men whose faces are not seen.
