7 wedding apps that will make planning your big day a whole lot easier

Your wedding is supposed to be one of the happiest days of your life, but actually planning it can make you want to pull your hair out.

Lucky for us, we live in a time of smart phones and we all know there’s an app for just about anything. So if you are having trouble organizing your big day, we’ve compiled a list of the best weddings apps to make the process as painless as possible.

1. WeddingHappy

OK, so where do you even start? This free iOS app is great if you have absolutely no idea what you’re doing. Just put in your anticipated wedding date, and WeddingHappy will design a schedule complete with a checklist and suggested due dates.

This app has other great features including a wedding day countdown, payment tracking, a spending summary, and vendor management. The set up is super simple, and you don’t need wifi to use the majority of the app — that means you can get your planning done on the subway or on a plane ride.

2. Wedding Planner by The Knot

Another one-stop shop for planning, this app features a checklist, countdown, budgeter, guest list manager, and options to explore venues and contact vendors. It also syncs automatically with all your devices, so you can keep planning wherever you are. It’s free for both iOS and Android

3. Appy Couple

It may have a very punny name, but it’s essential for all things related to your guests. Appy Couple is the one stop shop to manage your guest list, send invitations, collect RSVPs, and share your event’s itinerary. Guests can read your story, book their travel, direct message you with questions, and share photos with other guests after the wedding.

To get started, choose one of their many lovely designs to work as your e-stationary. (Though don’t stress, you can always change it at any time.) The options look like they are straight out of a cute, hip Etsy store. So you should be able to find the perfect fit for any wedding. Appy Couple is free for both iOS and Android.
