2017 Jingle Bell Run draws thousands to Laguna Niguel Regional Park to combat arthritis – Orange County Register

Some 2,500 participants donned festive holiday attire and tied bells to their shoelaces for the annual Jingle Bell Run, Sunday, Dec. 3 at Laguna Niguel Regional Park. The holiday-themed event included a 5K run for adults and a Rudloph Ramble 1K for kids 12 and under. Proceeds will support the Arthritis Foundation’s mission to conquer and cure arthritis.

Jingle Bell Run is held at locations around the nation during the holidays. This year’s event in Laguna Niguel raised more than $100,000, according to Foundation spokeswoman Candice Henry.

“It was a fantastic, festive, fun family event, ” Henry said. “There was a lot of energy, a great way to kick off the holiday season.”
