Liam Fee's social worker struck for catalogue of failings that put kids at 'risk of harm'

NC Liam was murdered by his mother Rachel Trelfa and her partner Nyomi Fee Lesley Bate was banned from the profession after a disciplinary panel found her guilty of “serious” misconduct that “amounted to neglect” of vulnerable children.  In two-year-old Liam’s case, the social worker failed to follow up concerns about his wellbeing, allowing him to “drop off the radar” in the months before he was murdered by his mother Rachel Trelfa and her partner Nyomi Fee.  Bate, 60, was yesterday [TUE] found guilty of 12 charges of misconduct relating to 15 children between December 2011 and August 2014.  Related […] Read More →
