US Foods raises more than $1bn in IPO

©Reuters US Foods, the private equity-owned food distributor, has raised $1.02bn in an initial public offering in what is shaping up to be the slowest year for American listings since the aftermath of the financial crisis in 2009. The company priced 44.4m shares at $23 each, towards the high end of an indicated range of $21 to $24. The deal gives US Foods a market value of just less than $5bn. New civil aviation policy faces delay over auction proposal – Economic Times

NEW DELHI: The new civil aviation policy that seeks to ease the rules for airlines to fly overseas and radically increase regional air connectivity will have to wait, as the Prime Minister’s Office has ordered to go slow on it.
