Fire at Londonderry school 'suspicious'

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service were called to Holy Child Primary School at 21:20 GMT. A spokesperson said that when crews arrived, the roof of the building, in Central Drive, Creggan, was was alight. Species rule change considered

A government consultation on whether to change the rules governing how contractors deal with protected species when developing sites ends this week. The focus is on the great crested newt, a species classified as endangered under European law.
