SURF CITY PARTY: Huntington Beach celebrates the nation’s birthday with fireworks off the pier, a three-day festival, parade, 5K run, pancake breakfast, entertainment and family activities. July 1-4. Information: surfcityusa.com or hb4thofjuly.org

CLASSIC CARS ON DISPLAY: Lyon Air Museum is hosting the 1901 Type 10, the 1927 Bugatti Type 35B and seven other European classic cars as part of its summer exhibit: “European Classic Automobiles – featuring the First Bugatti.” The exhibit opens Saturday, July 1, and continues through Sept. 4. 19300 Ike Jones Road, Santa Ana (west side of John Wayne Airport). EID FESTIVAL: Celebrate the end of the holy month of Ramadan at the fifth Eid Festival in Anaheim on July 1 and 2. There will be live entertainment, a talent show, bazaars, games, food and more in Downtown Anaheim, 205 Center Street Promenade. Noon to 10 p.m. each day. Free parking and admission.
